The Pamir Highway, stretching from Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan in Central Asia, is probably the most beautiful place we’ve ever visited. Along the way, you’ll find towering snow-capped mountains, winding high-altitude roads, friendly locals, lush valleys, and flowing rivers. Every village, ancient site, and lake we encountered was breathtaking, but the village of Langar in the Wakhan Valley was particularly special to us. There was just something unique about it.
